dream job
My dream job is
unusual to typical because it is in a juvenile prison, this because I feel that
this is where I can help and make the most changes, communication with young
people deprived of liberty is facilitated.
It is unusual since most social workers avoid this type of work, they are very
emotionally strong, so it is very easy to end up burned, in addition to the low
remuneration that this means.
I would love to work more than for money, for the satisfaction of having
someone smile for changing someone for a minute.
The truth is that
I do not see myself traveling, but on the contrary, I like to get to know who
and whom I work with, to have stability and a fixed team, in this way the
interventions are carried out with more confidence.
Another thing
that perhaps I have imagined is having my own NGO with more flexibility and
possibility of action, in a not so institutionally rigid way.
This would allow
me to be guided by my values, work with close people, and perhaps leave some
type of legacy that continues to make social changes for a long time.
Nothing is instantaneous ... but everything is possible as ali said
"the impossible is nothing but a challenge" taking on that challenge
on a daily basis will guide my work more than money.
